Treatment conditions at Body Mind Alkmaar

The Treatment
Our treatments last 30, 50, 80 or 110 minutes and include the use of products. The time for changing and a short intake is included in the duration of the treatment.

Cancel
Are you unexpectedly prevented from attending? You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the treatment. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours before your treatment, we will charge the full amount for the treatment. This also applies if you cancel due to illness.

Move
You can reschedule your treatment up to 24 hours in advance free of charge via the online link in your appointment confirmation or appointment reminder. Within 24 hours this can only be done by telephone, and Body Mind Alkmaar reserves the right to charge the treatment in full.

Too late
If you arrive later than the agreed treatment time, Body Mind Alkmaar can shorten the treatment without changing the rate.

No Show
If you do not show up for your booked treatment without notice, we will record this as a 'no show' and charge the full amount for the booked treatment.

Contraindications: When do we not treat?
Contraindications are conditions where it is wiser not to treat. At Body Mind Alkmaar we provide massages, singing bowls and energetic treatments. It is important to be honest about your medical history or conditions, because we can activate many processes in your body during a treatment.

Here are some common examples of contraindications:

• Fever and Flu

  • Contagious skin conditions (e.g. herpes, shingles)

    • All over the body – we do not massage.

    • Local – we provide adapted massage if necessary.

    • Facial massages are not given in case of cold sores or serious skin conditions on the face.

• Cancer/Tumors

• Infectious Diseases and Local Inflammations

• Cardiovascular Diseases

  • Severe – thrombosis, phlebitis.

  • Mild – varicose veins.

• Recent Bone Fractures, Wounds and Recent Scars

• Pregnancy – massage only from 14 weeks.

Are you unsure whether you can be treated? Then consult your doctor or contact us in advance. If you have not reported something in advance, it may happen that we come to the conclusion at the start of your treatment during the intake that we cannot treat you. You are at all times responsible for your own health and for providing the correct information.

Gift cards

The validity of the gift card is 2 years after issue. The gift card is not exchangeable for cash. We only accept original gift cards (no copies) and are not responsible for lost gift cards and can therefore not refund them.
